There is range of rates to suit you whether you are just starting out in counselling or psychotherapy private practice or are looking to move a busy counselling or psychotherapy practice to a more flexible location. The basic rate for a counselling psychotherapy room is £10 per session - however there are also three block booking rates. Note: evenings are only available as part of a block booking.
| Single Sessions | Only available during the day | £12 |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Block | from 7am to 2pm | £50 |
| Evening Block | from 5pm to 10pm | £50 |
| PM Block | from 3pm to 10pm | £60 |
| All Day | from 7am to 10pm | £90 |
| Single Sessions | Single sessions are only available during the day. You can book single sessions to see clients at lunch times, which are a popular appointment time for City workers. A single session must still be booked for a minimum of a month, though ad hoc sessions for assessments and rescheduled appointments can be booked if you already have another regular booking. |
| Morning Block | While evenings are generally more popular with clients. Some therapists may prefer to work in the day, and those who have EAP work could find that clients will be able to come during work hours. The morning block could also allow you to come in at 7am to see some clients before work (at 7am, 8am and 9am) and then to see more over the lunch hour (at 11am, noon and 1pm). |
| Evening Block | The evening is the most popular time for appointments with City workers. It is possible for clients working full-time to make appointments as early as 4pm, and 5pm is very workable. It is therefore possible to see 4 clients in an evening - at 5, 6, 7 and 8pm. The room is yours till 10pm and while scheduling a regular session at 9pm can make for a long day, the 9pm session can be useful as an assessment or reschedule session. |
| PM Block | The PM block gives you access to the room from 3pm. Taking the room from this time can give you a chance to settle in for the evening session and use the included wireless Internet to catch up on correspondence and research. However 3pm and 4pm are also often very productive as client session times, or as assessment sessions. |
| All Day Block | The All Day Block gives you access to the room from 7am to 10pm. Allowing you to see clients over the three high-demand lunch-time slots (12, 1 and 2pm) and also the four high-traffic evening slots (5, 6, 7 and 8pm). During times when you are not seeing clients you can use the room as a quiet work area, with the included wireless Internet. |
Upon commencement each tenant will be asked to sign a letter indicating agreement to the terms and affirming that the tenant has professional indeminity insurance. To see the full terms stated in this letter click here.
Counselling psychotherapy rooms are rented on a sessional basis - you rent the same set of sessions each week. The minimum rental period is one month and you are required to provide one month's notice of the intention to quit. Sessions may be booked anytime between 6am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday.
A rental session is 60 minutes to accomodate therapeutic sessons of 50 minutes. You can expect to have access to the room 5 minutes before your client session, and must vacate the room no less than 5 minutes before the session of the next therapist.
Ad hoc or one-off sessions (for assessments or rescheduled appointments) may be booked where availability permits, by someone who has an existing regular booking.
